Oh, my god. My school (alma mater? i feel so old, orz) has this rivalry with this much bigger school Across The Way and lately it has risen to new heights after Those Other Students invaded our cafeteria/buffet style room thingy (which we call the OR). At a recent game there was a chant war between the two schools and it went something like this:

Other School: The OR is Ours, the OR is Ours.

My School: EAT YOUR OWN FOOD, EAT YOUR OWN FOOD.

also- I'm a tag wrangler on AO3 for xxxHolic and I just volunteered for Pandora Hearts, though I'm still in the noob stage where I'm just sort of staring around at everything. AO3 is shiny. *_*

Quick post - does anyone know if we ever got a clearer version of FWR's little harem, other than the one in the first chapter? Something just occurred to me and I wanna check it out, but that first panel isn't detailed enough...


eta: okay, the reason I wanted a clearer look at those girls was to see if maybe they corresponded to the Clients that have appeared in Holic. Not that they are the clients, but if FWR has a connection to either Watanuki or Doumeki (or even Yuuko), those girls may have molded after the women we've seen in xxxHolic.

I wish there was someone out there who shared my brain. Then I could say to that person, "Dear Brain-sharing friend, what happens after this plot point?" And that person would say, "Oh, silly! Clearly this is what must happen."

And then that person would tell me exactly what I need to know and I would no longer want to rip my story out of my computer and stomp on it until it decides to be more cooperative.

I think we should really be thinking about little Harry now, especially since a bad guy has already made a play for him. I'm not saying that Nicodemus 'knows' about Harry C. (if there is, in fact, anything to know), but the fact remains that, from a plot standpoint, this little kid was nearly put in to play six books ago.

Little Harry isn't going to be so little for very long.

I went through the Pandora Hearts character profiles and listed them all from tallest to shortest.

...I was bored, okay?

So Ada is the tallest girl. Jack is shorter than Gilbert (I knew it!). Oz is the shortest boy with Leo at a close second. Alice is the shortest out of everyone, and Liam is surprisingly tall.

I've been able to get online for about five minutes at a time, left a few comment here and there, but yeah. The hiatus is unfortunately still in effect. Stupid internet. Hopefully things'll get sorted in the next few weeks. *sigh* This is what I get for relying on public hotspots.

But before I disappear again! yuletide fandom nominations and sign ups will be happening very, very soon and you all had better be getting your asses over there to nominate Pandora Hearts, cuz it looks like there might be a chance it could get through.

Also! Nabari and Karneval and Kobato and what have you all look like they'll have a chance as well. I don't think Holic or Tsubasa would be able to make the cut, though Holic has in the past. Still! There needs to be more anime fandoms in Yuletide. (especially fandoms that I will read in, *cough*)

My puppy (who isn't really a puppy, he's like 80 in dog years) has gotten into the habit of hitting me with his paw when he wants attention.






Looks devilish, doesn't he? He's a twelve year old Norwegian Elkhound. Now, would you want this dog to hit you with his paw every time he feels that his ear needs scratching? *sigh* I'm afraid he's going to give me a concussion one day. >.<

He's such a spoiled brat. He'll give off all the cues that he wants to go out, and my mom will go down to the door with his leash and call him down, but he will just sit his fat butt down at the top of the stairs and won't move an inch until I get up from my very comfortable chair to take him out. Then he bolts right out the door. *head desk*

But he is my sweetheart, so I put up with his antics because I love him (the punk).
